I have purchased a reliance data card a few months back, which I later made migrated to pre-paid from post-paid and also life long validity.
Yesterday I purchased recharge for Rs.404/- for 25 hours from your Kolkata, Prince Anwar Shah Road outlet. Although the person at the counter confirmed extension for 25 hours and assured me that I would receive sms to that effect after going back home, I did not get any sms till now. Neither I am getting connected to broadband for internet surfing through your data card.
Please take immediate action rendering your “customer service”.

Thanks so much for sharing ur experience…atleast u r successful in saving others from falling into the same trap….I was planing to get the same as we hear abt reliance everyday..but now i am convinced that it is worse.

Thanks Lalit. But switching is not so easy. I already have a reliance data card. To move to Idea i’ll need to purchase another one.

Hi Rahul,

I am using Idea USB stick for net and its working very fine from 3 months.Neither I got disconnected not any billing woes!
I think you can switch to Idea.Its speed is 236 kpbs.I am totally net addict and using net from my laptop.

oh! and I am not any way affiliated to Idea just wanted to help so that who ever is reading these comments would get benefited.

Sunny … I did find this blog because of your tips.

Rahul … I enjoyed your scenario and it’s all together too realistic. I laughed so hard, because I would otherwise be crying. I’m the unfortunate customer of Reliance too, and typed in “reliance sucks” and here I am.

The only thing that’s reliable about Reliance is their unreliability. They are stealing my 20 – 40 kbps with their stupid and annoying web site coming up when ever it wants to. I’m sitting here looking at my system tray’s monitors and just waiting for the tiniest hint of them turning blue. No such luck, BUT THEIR WEB SPAM COMES IN QUITE EASILY. I wasted Rs.30,000 on their empty promises and now every time their spam comes through I’m writing them. It happens many times a day. But I have so far not heard a word from them in several days.

Indeed, Reliance sucks, and Reliance Communication sucks, Reliance Data card sucks, Anil Ambani sucks, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani sucks, Reliance Communication sucks, Reliance sucks, Reliance Data card sucks, Anil Ambani sucks, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani sucks. Unreliable reliance.

this calls for protests. let’s brandish swords and run on roads, block traffic. ask dhirubhai ambani to be arrested. we finally have an issue to fight for.
